Well, with these Scourge ships completed, the Dropfleet Commander 2-player set is now painted.
These are the four Scourge frigate models...
...and these are the three cruisers.
And here are all 14 of the ships that come in the basic game. Speaking of which...I'm ready for one!
Now on to the Prospero boxed set. That's a big one.
'Til next time.
Wow, I can't believe how fast you can kick out nicely painted models, and put them together on top of it!

Really nice minis. Great work. Now you can enjoy space battles. Will you write a review about the game?

Very likely, Manuel.
DeleteBeautiful paint job as always. Nice colour palette.
ReplyDeleteI just received my Dropfleet Commander Starter box in the mail yesterday and I am excited to get started. I can't decide if I am going to use my airbrush or not on the Scourge. I think that you might have sprayed over an ink-washed white prime... maybe using some GameAir paints? But I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your models are very nice and I hope that mine come out as well. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Squid.
DeleteThe models are painted with Ghost Tints over sliver. Good luck on yours. Very nice models to paint.
Hi Kevin,
DeleteThanks for the quick reply! Those translucent Badger colors really pop over the silver. That was a great play call.
I'll be assembling them shortly and finalizing my painting plan soon. Thanks again for the input!
Best,
Jeff
Hi Kevin, great work on the models. Regarding your Scourge, I assume the Ghost Tints were applied using an airbrush? Did you pre-assemble the models completely before airbrushing, or paint them in pieces?
