The Betrayal At Calth project continues. This time around, I've finished off the five Terminators and Leader figure for the Ultramarines force.
Holy crap...these guys took a lot of effort...and more than the end result would suggest. All the figures are OK, except that I really struggled with the white leather dangly bits. Got to figure out a better way of doing those for next time around.
'Til next time.
28,000 years in the future and no one has conquered male baldness? WTH GW?
ReplyDeleteNope...apparently, they've conquered everything else...just not the hair thing.
DeleteThey look awesome...if it's any consolation, I really struggled with the white leather strips too.
ReplyDeleteSure...but your execution was so much better. Essentially, after really mediocre results, I just couldn't justify putting more time in to make them better. That's why I'm pretty sure I need to investigate a better method. How did you do yours?
DeleteTrying to remember. I think I started with a basecoat of Celestra Grey (GW) which goes on relatively smooth. Then I gradually added ceramite white for a couple of layers. But by the end I was laying on ceramite pretty thick, and trying to use a grey line marker to draw the grooves back in between them. UGH it was painful lol.
ReplyDeleteVery nice unit.
