Daughters of the Flame, et al

Finished up a couple of lingering projects this weekend. First up is a unit of Daughters of the Flame...essentially a group of assassins for my Warmachine Menoth forces. I took another whack at Menoth White as the main color for this unit. Generally, I hate painting white because it's so difficult to work with. However, this time around I washed the base coat with brown and it actually turned out OK. I used Foundry Royal Purple for the cloth.

I've also finished off two Menoth solos. On the left is an Order of the Fist monk. On the right is a Vassal of Menoth. These were very straight forward figs...nothing special here.

'Til next time.

  1. Hey Kevin -looking good mate , i love the white yourve done on the Daughters - white can be a bugger to paint but you have done a great job.

If you don't mind me asking - what size are the pictures you take? I'm still new to the whole blogging thing and i'm having trouble getting my photos to size correctly online.

  2. Kiwi,
The pics are quite large...a couple of megs each. In the blog set up, I set the size for the thumbnail import to "large". HTH.

  3. Thanks for the info Kevin - i'll give that a try and see if it improves my pics.
